About Music Lessons

Lesson Scheduling: The first lesson is free. Lessons are ½ hour once a week. Attending weekly lessons is an important part of the student’s success. We will work with you to pick a day/time that is best for you. Alternating lesson dates and times are difficult to schedule and slow down the learning process.

Cancellation/missed lesson Policy: Students are responsible for all scheduled lessons. If a conflict occurs and it is prior to 24-hour notice, you may reschedule the lesson. Lessons that are canceled/missed without 24-hour notice may not be able to be rescheduled. Lessons may be rescheduled for the same week or maybe doubled up on the next lessons (if available). If we have to cancel a lesson, it can either be rescheduled or credit will be given for the lesson to the next month.

Lesson Termination Policy: When a student registers for lessons, we anticipate that this will be a long-term relationship. However, if it is necessary to discontinue lessons, please give notice before next month's payment is due. Monthly payments will not be returned due to early termination.

Lesson Payments Policy: Lessons payments are by the month. Payments are due on the last week of the month for the next month of lessons. (Please note some months will have 5 weeks of lessons) 10% late fee applies. Payments are accepted by check, cash, credit or debit card. Checks made payable to: Making Music Matter For Kids Inc.
